Her Excellency Salamatu Tanko Almakura First Lady of Nasarawa state visited in a bid to reach out to kids on children's day, visited the Dalhatu Specialist Hospital, Maimuna Katai and Gidan Bege Orphanage homes in Lafia, Nasarawa State, where she spent time talking to nursing mothers, interacting with the children and distributed foodstuffs and several other items at the orphanage home.
