National Association of Niger State Students is set to hold a seminar with the theme "The Role of Students/Youths In Our Society For Nation Building". The seminar is slated to hold at the prestigious Abdulsalam Youth Centre Minna on Saturday 5th March 2016 by 9am.
The conference is said to focus on ways the youths could contribute their quota in nation building and also aimed at educating and enlightening the youths. At the conference keynote speakers would be tutoring participants on several pertinent issues bothering our society and the country at large with lectures also cutting across issues such as youth and politics, entrepreneurship skills development and career building.
Speakers at the event include:
B.M Dzukogi and Dr. Imani Ibrahim Ahmed Phd as Guest Speakers. With Rt. Hon Ahmed Marafa (NGHA) as the Guest Of Honour, Prof. Farouq Rasheed Haruna as the Special Guest. Distinguished Guests of Honour are, Hon. Manma Musa Bosso (Niger State Commissioner For Youth And Sport), Alhaji Abudulkadir S. Abugi (Member National Assembly Rep. Niger state North Central), Engr. A. J. Isah (Operations Controller DPR Minna Niger State). Gov. Alhaji Abubakar Sani Bello Lolo (Executive Governor Niger State) as the Special Guest of Honour. While the Mother of The Day would be Hajiya Fatima Madugu (Hon. Commissioner For Education Niger state). The occasion would be chaired by Prof. Nasiru Ahmed Maiturare, with the Royal Father Of the Day been Dr. Umar Farouq Bahago (Emir of Minna)
According to the organisers, the conference will see students and youths in Niger state been educated and enlightened on practical ways of nation building as the conference also seeks to bring together youths from different gender, ethnicity and religious background to discuss issues ranging from empowerment through to development and other challenges in the country. The organisers further affirmed that the conference would be an educating and innovative one and a must attend for every youth in Niger state.
