Nasarawa State University, Keffi is one of the fastest growing state owned university in Nigeria. Established in 2001, to cater for the educational needs of its environs and beyond. It houses six faculties which are faculty of Law, Natural And Applied Sciences, Agriculture, Arts and Humanities, Social Sciences and Administration, with several departments scattered in her faculties. It also offers diploma certificates in several courses.
With the emergence of Prof. Mainoma into office in 2014 as the Vice Chancellor, Nasarawa State University has witnessed a series of alarming, mind-blowing and transforming edifices, as her hostels still under renovation are been transformed into world class structures, making it a total opposite of what they use to look like. The roads in N.S.U.K were formerly as dusty as the sahara desert, but now even the blind can see how well she is endowed with well tarred roads, like a woman in her prime, she glitters and radiates
Its not just the structural face of N.S.U.K that has been transformed, its academic strength has not been left out too, as qualified, qualitative and well trained lecturers are consistently employed into the citadel of learning. This academia has proven itself to be outstanding among it peers, as it consistently produces students with high intellect, who have made indelible footprints in the sands of time and also it has never ceased to house lecturers with good morals and vast educational knowledge in their portfolios.
